Eeva Latosuo

Originally from Finland, Eeva has been an avalanche practitioner in North America for a few decades as a professional ski patroller in Colorado, a mountaineering and climbing instructor in the Pacific Northwest, an avalanche educator in Alaska, and a Search and Rescue volunteer. Eeva is faculty at Alaska Pacific University, where she has taught snow science and outdoor recreation since 2004 and is currently working on her PhD at Simon Fraser University's Avalanche Reseach program.
